Chapter 2

A woman stands by the crystal of the Aesir, a now empty shell which held immense power, enough to restore Nordhein to it's once prosperous self. But now hollow and devoid of anything by the treacherous acts of Loki, it only remains a symbol for the Aesir and Odin's Wolf to keep the fight. To defend the last bastion of Aesir and Human against those who wish to destroy it.

"Everyone thought you were dead Rein. I'm glad to see you again," the woman says as she walks up to him, blond short cut hair, she is adorned Aesir robes. A dark blue with gold trimming, a symbol of a wolf and raven marks her left shoulder.
"And you did not Freya?" Rein says as he embraces Freya tightly, reluctantly letting go. "I'm used to waiting for you Rein. How was everything?"
"Besides being cooped up in Victoria's hell hole? Fine. How goes things at the palace?" walking over to the crystal, place an armored hand upon it. "Too bad this crystal is no long useful, it could've helped years ago and ended this war already."
"Things are going well at the palace. Everyone is waiting for you to go to the dining hall. We should go, they may be getting restless." Freya smiles and she extends a hand from under her robes. "Yes, best not to keep them waiting." Rein returns the smile and takes her hand as they both walk off through the decadent halls into the dining area where all the Aesir are gathered.
