Chapter 1

Through the halls of the great and ancient city of Kisaragi, the light shines off the marble floor, giving it a glowing radiance, the walls adorned with banners of nations and factions of what is left of Nordhein,  a barren, inhospitable frost planet. The banners beholding animals of old ages, long forgotten creatures of legend, and family heralds, giving the halls an imposing image.

And deep down, is a large chamber, with guards, clad in fierce, but dazzling armor. Trimmed gold, the armor is a dark blue, their helmets potruding outwards in a shape of a wolf masking their face. They hold a moderation of a sword, held by its hilt, another blade is attached to the bottom, allowing it to be used as a staff, a spear, and a sword. At their belts is a short sword, in a sheath with glorified with gems. And on their backs, the high powered rifles issued to the Elite Wolf guards.

At the end of this chamber is Hellgrim, the oldest of a half-god race called the Aesir. Ancients, they roamed the land in years past, but now, the world has shifted, and their race is few, but more still die beyond the blood-soaked walls of Kisaragi among the everlasting snow.

"Hello Brother Rein! I'm glad your are well!" Hellgrim yells to the man walking through the doors, his face concealed by a hood and helmet. His armor is the color of those of the Elite Wolves, but with more of a sheen to it. The armor is glorified to that fit of an Aesir, his shoulder blades as big as his head protruding outwards, ancient runes on his gauntlets and grieves to bless him in battle, of that, the rest is concealed under his cloak. "Hello Hellgrim. I'm glad to be back with my own brethren in stead of rotting in Victoria's hell hole she calls an Apothecary." Rein replies, laughing. As the 2 Aesir embrace eachother in the middle of the hallway

"It's been too long Hellgrim. An Apothecary is no place for an Aesir to be held." Rein says as the 2 push away from eachother. "Indeed it has Brother, that last battle almost killed you. Best becareful, those scars don't look to good."
"Yes, well Victoria says they may scar but nevertheless, they make one hell of a memory for years to come. Too bad I can not remember much of what happened."
"You were knocked out, good thing Tyr was there to save your ass or you'd be dead by now!"

Laughing, they both walk up to Hellgrim's desk and discuss about topics at hand such as the war with the Jaded Guard. A band of cast offs from the Aesir realm, humans and goblins waging war with Aesir and the humans known as Odin's Wolf. Little do they know that the humans, are slowly becoming aware of the losing war against the guards. Some seek the help of an Aesir known as Loki. But first, they must help him, for he is locked in a maximum prison for treason against his own kind, and due to be executed. The humans start to question the power of these Aesir, wondering if they actually are there to help, some doubt their power and are beginning to form the seeds of seperation..

After many long hours of discussion, they bid their dues and departed. Rein headed towards the crystal of the Aesir, to visit the woman he loved other than his late wife, Freya.
